The TruDesign Air Handler Valve is designed for insulated chilled-water loops in marine air handler systems. It allows individual air handlers to be easily isolated for servicing or when not in use, while maintaining insulation integrity.
The full-flow valve minimises flow restriction, while the raised handle provides easy access and positive on/off control above the insulation. Its low thermal conductivity composite construction also helps reduce heat transfer and condensation compared with conventional metal valves.
- Made from Nylon 6 composite – gives better thermal insulation characteristics, limiting condensation risk and cooling water temperature loss.
- Insulation shroud – gives a tight seal over the lagging and protects the lagging from damage when the handle is turned.
- Standoff spigot – allows room under the handle for lagging and clear visual of the handle position above the lagging.
- On/Off stops give clear physical assurance what position the valve is in when “blind” access control is needed.
- Full flow ball valve ensures cooling water is not restricted.
