The TruDesign ball valves are manufactured with a Teflon impregnated Ball running on Teflon rings, so no lubrication is required. It is good practice to turn the valve handle every few months to keep the movement free but there have been several examples where TruDesign Ball Valve handles have not been turned for over 12 months and they still function fine.
